For everyone

Welcome to a year of excitement with Pack 357!

Pack 357 is thrilled to welcome new and returning Scouts to a year of excitement and adventure!  Your leaders are planning spectacular activities for all our Scouts and their families.

For those of you who may not know yet, the BSA and the Greater St. Louis Council have opened up the Cub Scout program to all youth in Kindergarten through fifth grade – this includes boys and girls.  The program is focused on families and by having a program for all of these youth, busy families have the opportunity to bring everyone together for a character based development and education.  We will continue to provide information and guidance on STEM, life skills and innovation; all with an emphasis on fun!

If you are looking to join a Cub Scout Pack in the Ballwin, Missouri area, you have found a great place to start!  We are having an informational meeting for families at Woerther Elementary on Thursday, August 23rd.  We will be starting at 6:30 pm.

If you are ready to join the Pack 357 family, you can scan the QR code below or click on it to be transferred to the website to sign up.

Back to School…And Another Scout Year!

Hello everyone!  I hope everyone enjoyed their summer break and is looking forward to another great School and Scouting year!  Please be sure to speak to your current Den Leader if you have questions about schedules or Den events.

We just wrapped up our School Night To Join Scouting and our Back to School BBQ.  If you missed one or both of those and still need to sign up, please do so right away so we can get your Scout Handbooks to your Den Leader for distribution.

For any new members, you can go to the registration link via the QR code below (you can either scan it with your mobile device or you can click on it to go directly to the website from your PC browser.

Communication went out a few weeks ago about changes to the program that your Pack leadership put in place during the annual committee planning and budget meetings this summer.  If you missed that communication, please contact your Den leader or a Pack leader to find out more.

The Pack Leadership is looking forward to another exciting, fun-filled year of adventure and learning!  Make sure to come along with us and experience the thrills of being a Cub Scout!

Spring is here!

Pack 357 families, spring is here and I hope you enjoyed the mild winter.  We celebrated achievements for our Scouts at the Blue and Gold Banquet earlier this month.  It looked like most of you were there and had a lot of fun creating some good memories.

Last weekend, we headed back to the trail that started it all!  Our March monthly hike kicked off our tenth year in the program.  We walked about 4.5 miles with hills and valleys to cross before we reached then end.  I have been on most of the hikes over the past nine years and it has really been a positive experience.  I encourage more of our families to join in on this activity – we hike every month (unless we can’t for some reason).  We are looking for adults interested in helping us find new locations to visit and new activities to do while we are out and about.  This is a great way to get the boys outside and getting exercise.  We also hope they have fun!

In April, we will be having our last indoor Pack meeting before summer.  It is on Friday, April 21st.  Please join us for more fun and exciting times and don’t forget the attendance prize!

Summer Day  and Overnight camps are open for registration and I hope you all take advantage of the great opportunities these events have to offer.  We have the advantage of having Castlewood Day Camp right around the corner and a volunteer commitment is not a requirement for that camp.  You can find all the details on Summer Camps right here!

Be safe and have fun, until we see each other again!
